I am new to this forum so I hope I am posting in the right section of the Forum.
I have a problem regarding an intermittent fault on the bottom bracket/crank spindle Motion Sensor/Controller Unit.
This unit which is wrapped around the crank spindle contains all of the sensory electronics for the bike.
I have dismantled the bottom bracket assembly so that I have a combined unit of Spindle/Chainwheel/Sensor Unit, out of which comes 8 wires.
I have tried with no success to source a replacement unit so have decided to venture further and dismantle the unit to see if it is a simple and serviceable problem.
I have got to the point where unit should slide off the spindle but have met with some resistance, so have not applied undue force in case I damage the unit.
My question is, does anyone have any knowledge of these units, if so how is the unit removed from the spindle, and if removed what fault should I look for?
The unit is fixed to a Lightening TDH25Z1.
Any info on this problem would be gratefully received.
