Im a but concerned about my controller and motor running together. I have a lcd that says when i use full throttle it is outputting ~1600w. Im not doing that for long since the motor is rated for 1000w.
So is this actually dangerous for the motor or controller to do or not?

1000W is the nominal power of your motor and peaks of 1600W are okcas long as only for a few seconds at a time.
My Dillenger 1Kw motor and s the same.

If the motor keeps putting out 1600 watts I would refrain from touching the throttle by around 80 kph. It would be really scary by then.

Don't worry about the peak values. Unless you maintain it for a while ( usually thinking around 30 mins) the motor won't overheat. If it starts to get warm stop and let it cool off.
But I don't think that your battery or setup will let you do that.
Ride and enjoy.

It is dangerous if it is sustained. It is unlikely that you want that much power unless you were climbing the famous Dutch Alps! If you have a 400 watt hour battery you would flatten it in 15 mins.
The issues is overheating and it is unlikely to get that warm that quickly.
On the relatively flat 1600 watts will get you going at over 80kph, if you do then it's time to slow down.

That sounds normal.
I wouldnt expect you to get much more than 40 kph out of it,thats the maximum I can get out of mine.

My 1kw motor peaks at 1600 watts often, no big deal. If anything its your batteries that will suffer if they arent up to the job of delivering the current required.
