hello all,

I'm hoping somebody maybe able to help me
I have recently replaced controller and battery on my bike and serviced the actual bike
All going well this year until this week
I could feel the assistance kicking in but throttle just juddered and cut out making my ride home a little more difficult, especially the hill climbs!
I have read other / similar posts and have followed the advice, motor wires all seem well connected and there is definitely power coming from the battery, the led power bar is full
I'm going to take it out today and check to see if the assistance is still working to hopefully confine the issue to the front hub. It's a front brush motor
Any help or guidance would be much appreciated

If it works with the pedal sensor, there's nothing wrong with the motor, controller or battery. That only leaves the throttle. Did you get water in it?

Ah interesting, thank you
I did consider the water issue as the weather has been pretty wet this week and I wondered about this.
I've cleaned the bike up this morning up and I opened up the casing on the controller to find it was a little wet in there so the whole bike is propped up against the radiator at the moment drying out. I will check the throttle too to see if this is at all wet?
If it water damaged is it a case of just retro fitting with a new throttle?
Thanks again

Well, things seem to be looking up
I have given everything a good dry down and had the bike warming stood next to radiator for 6 hours
Just powered the bike up and all seems to be back to full operation?!
Could it be a little water that crept into throttle has now dried out leaving the connections dry and working again?
I am hoping that's it fixed, will go for a ride later and see...
Thanks again?

Water in the throttle messes up its operation, but rately does permanent damage.

For the controller, make sure that any water that can get in can easily get out.

Ok thank you. I will take it for a ride and make sure the throttle is nice clean and dry.

I need a mudguard and relief hole in my controller holder. Good tip!

Have a good weekend, thanks d8veh!
