That time of year again.
Some photos chosen because I happen to like the photo, and some simply because of the moment and memory.
A frosty start to the year.
Against the odds.
An early start to the day.
Four that make me long for warm sunny spring and summer days and evenings.
A place that few people on cycles have reached.
Hesitation before heading off! What you can't see from this photo of a hiking trail, is how loose that the stone is, how narrow that it gets, how steep that it dives, and how the left hand side drops hundreds of metres away into a vertical nothingness. I recall being pretty nervous about riding this, and worrying that at the minimum that if this went wrong, that I wasn't wearing elbow pads. It took a little reassurance from my guide, now friend, that I had the ability to tackle it. And yep, he wanted me to go first, which actually didn't help the situation.
Africa at home on the South Downs.
For some reason I really like this one. I think that it is the randomness of the weed.
Finally, an early autumn morning.
