It had to happen sometime, after 2 years and many thousands of miles my electrics have broken down. 
I thought it was the battery but took the case apart last night and it all seems fine, time to take the controller out on Saturday. I'm getting just enough power through to dimly light the front lamp but not enough to light the rear one or to power up the bike.
On a good note the 906 was easy to ride without power and quite a pleasent experience.
