My Tonaro drive unit..............

emits an annoying squeal when ridden/pedaled with the power on or off, and I`ve lubed almost everything but to no avail.Its only when its under load that its heard,ie when its spun stationary its quiet.Any ideas what or where to look/do as I don`t want the hassel of sending it back as its only a month old!

First port of call I would say would be to ask the seller.....hopefully it was Phil at Powerpedals who will be able to advise you immediately.

Unless of course a more mechanical Tonaro owner than me on here will know the answer......lets hope its easily solved anyway.

We have five tonaros here but I dont recognise your own specific malady. It's not too hard taking the gear unit apart but hopefully you wont have to do that. The seller can probably send you a new gearbox which will be easy to swap over if necessary.
