Unfortunately, your covering the bit I want to see with your fingers. I want to see how the black cover moves in relation to the endplate - looking from it end-on. In the picture where you measure the screw with your digital caliper gauge, it appears to show that the black cover is overlapping the end plate on the left side, but under-lapping on the right side.

ok, got it now!

Here the video where we can always see the interstice (with the yellow cable) between the black cover and the end plate:

I suppose it's not bent?

I can't manage to remove the screw, so I think I'm going to drill. I haven't found any other solution.

I now have my drill and my 4mm ALPEN Cobalt Jobber Drill bit (purchased everything as advised):

I've found a large pan that could be used as metal sheet:

I tried to drill this pan but I can't manage to pierce this pan. The metal really seem strong and the drill is not stable. It's really loud and not doing anything to this pan.

Would the metal from the pan too strong? Or have I been piercing wrongly?

Using a 4mm drill directly into sheet metal is not easy. You should first centre-punch where you want the hole and then drill with a smaller drill -say 2 or 2.5mm, then open up the hole with the 4mm drill.

Using a 4mm drill directly into steel should only be done with a pillar drill - not with a hand battery-operated drill.
