Have just bought a second hand bike its a evens cycles 22" frame mountain bike with a ezpro conversion kit on it
It has a li ion battery 10 amp 26volt
It has a display with three settings for climbing hills and a torques pedel system
Only it doesnt seem to like number three power setting and one and two are ok but still struggles a bit up big hills
Am i expecting too much or has anyone else had one
Very new to this just wanted to get fit and was on tight budget
Can i check inside the motor to check anything is ok?and how should i charge battery itseems to say its charged in less than an hour
Any help would be great
Cant take it back as too big a journey
Many thanks

Kinda :p

The limitations of the motor and battery will not wizzzzzzzzzz you up 'big hills' without you assisting with a lot of pedal power

Stay away from big hills :D

Yes it does
That's virtually certain to be the battery not up to the current demand then, very common as a lithium battery ages, and the more so on the lesser known ones.

The answer will either be a specific new one for the kit or any other 26 volt lithium battery of 9 Ah or more capacity. The latter will need to be mounted somewhere like the rack and connections adapted to suit, but that option is often much cheaper than the specific one.
