Saw this on ebay and the name Gazelle is used liberally but I'm not familiar with the other part of the name. Without lining up the pics with those of the Gazelle Innergy models to compare, I'd say there's a striking similarity, certainly at first glance.

Orbea Eline Gazelle Dutch Electric Bike | eBay

The seller doesn't have much of a track record and the spiel looks like it's been translated, (badly) or it's from someone with English as a second language, (a Geordie?):)

I don't need one but if it's based on the Gazelle Innergy or is indeed the Gazelle under another marketing style, it's a nice, comfortable and low-maintenance bike. There's quite a few interesting ebikes on eBay at the moment, not all bargains in my view but anyone in the market to purchase could find a bargain if the research has been done.

No link Indalo, but I think you mean this ebay one

It looks identical to the Gazelle Innergy and it's probably under licence from them.

Orbea are a Spanish bicycle manufacturer, like BH who sell the Emotion bikes.

I can't see the e-bike on the Orbea sites so it's possibly just a buy-in to test the market before going up against BH in their home market:

My apologies and well picked up Flecc!

I shouldn't think they'll sell too many of those in the UK but it's probably an OK buy as any LBS can do all the mechanicals and the Panasonic bits are well developed now and don't cause too many problems. There's masses of choice at the money being asked though but dealer back-up is very important to many people and that will certainly sway a lot of potential buyers.

ps Just added the link which was a bit pointless really, lol.

There are a number of Gazelle Innergy sellers around so spares and a degree of support should be no problem.

There's also an Orbea UK website with loads of UK dealers listed, though the e-bike isn't mentioned.

You only have to ask nicely Indalo if you ever need any translating doing....... :D

I have seen plenty of Orbea bikes around here, but never an E-bike.......will keep a look out though.....
