I've had a mistral synergie for nearly 2 years and it's suited me really well. The battery (36V 10AH lithium ion marked Phylion DC37.0 V) is failing and i urgently need a new one. Synergie say they don't have any and can't locate any. Anyone any ideas where I can find one that will fit my Mistral? It looks similar to the ones on eZee bikes. Thanks!

The eZee batteries won't fit and are £400 for 10 Ah.

Sustain Cycles used to sell the Synergie bikes under their own badge with the Mistral known as the Halley (Mark 1), so they may just have a spare battery in stock.

They now have other models like the Halley Mark 2 and the Newton, so you could check with them if one of those spare batteries fit the Mistral/Halley Mark 1.

it's also marked XH370-10J
I know the Mistral battery did change at one time and that type number is the same as the Ezee one, so it could fit if the slide mounting and base connector plate of the case is the same.

I don't know how you feel about the price though, Synergie's batteries were traditionally much cheaper, last I knew around £150 to £200.

Onbike are the agents for the eZee bikes and batteries, here's the page:

If you look here Synergie Bikes - Online Shop you will see that if the Mistral batteries were available they would probably now cost nearly £300 while a new bike, including battery, would be £550.

Better then perhaps, to buy a new Mistral, all bright and shiny, with no wear or tear on brakes, tyres, etc, and transfer any expensive accessories from the old one to the new one.
