I'm fairly new to the forum and would like to ask for a bit of advice. I've got a lecky bike which I'm pleased with but would like to get the duchess one, mine has a crossbar and she has great difficulty in getting on it.
So I'm looking to get a ladies step through bike, mine is a 36v 10amp so looking for same sort of thing with 26" wheels. I can spend up to £900 I know this is not a huge amount but I would appreciate any suggestions for a bike about this price.
Thanks in anticipation.
Peter.

hi Peter and welcome. Have a look at Woosh bikes and Juicy Bikes as a starter. Sure they will have something in your price range

Although there are the obvious pitfalls, I bought my Kalkhoff Pro Connect on the used market. Nearly half price with plenty of warranty left and in virtually perfect condition. Other than the obvious stuff to look out for, the battery is possibly the most important thing to ascertain the condition of.

Unlike the used car market, I suspect the major majority of pedelecs are sold on due to a lack of use or that they are upgrading rather than (like the car market) the fact that there is something wrong with it. Definitely worth a look through gumtree or similar.

Freego now have their £100 cash back offer on. A £999 Hawk Stepthrough will be right in your budget.
