New controller - help please clever people!

Any knowledge is appreciated.

Bought a new controller, 3 phase, hall, power throttle wires/connectors make sense. Not sure on the electric lock, power switch and power indicator lines.

Photos below, was planning to connect the anti-theft power line to the switch on the throttle and hot wire the electric lock line to the battery -ve line. No idea what the green/grey wires on the old controller do but they connect to the throttle.

Simply 3 connects to 5 but how it operates I'm not sure but maybe via the display.
All appears over complicated and unnecessary.

The controller appears to be a speed controller for a scooter and is illegal for a ebike/pedelecs as it has no PAS option and only throttle speed control via the 3 speed switch by the looks of it .
Just looked again PAS connection could well be the three speed wire #6 ?
