Had to fit a new Kalkhoff motor (old one developed a nasty crack in the casing) on Pro Connect, but experiencing unusual behaviour from it... abrupt power cut off at low loads/speeds. Lights also now not working. Any ideas very welcome. Thanks

It sounds like a circuit board failure since the lighting is also derived from a switching circuit that's onboard, though an internally faulty connection may be involved. The new unit will have the same two year guarantee so probably best to claim under that rather than open up the unit and invalidate the warranty. There's no internal spares available anyway, so you couldn't repair it. The only thing you could tackle is unplugging the connectors by the unit and replugging them to ensure good connections. You'd have to get under the cowlings for that.

Best wishes, Pete
