Finding my (electric) wheels

Hi, I am new to the site & after having 2 electric bikes stolen over the previous 2 years, I have purchased a 2nd hand Windsor Powacycle with a 24v battery that isn't holding a charge for long during use. I have searched the net for a replacement but to no joy, anyone knows where I could get one, please? Also, I did manage to get one of my stolen bikes back, but with the back wheel motor blown, that's a 36v which I prefer, the problem I have is it has a drum brake I think, not sure what it's called & haven't seen one like it anywhere for sale, can this brake be removed/altered in any way? Thank you!

Most likely a coaster brake for motored hub.

How do you know the motor wheel is blown ?
More likely that damage will occur to the controller then the hub motor.
Have you or has the controller been tested ?

For the 24v battery show us a pic to stop us guessing at what you have.

It started making a loud screaching noise from the back wheel while I was riding it, then stopped & I can't pull the bike backwards, only forwards

As it has a drum brake it could be that or the internal motor clutch/nylon planetary gears are damaged, it will need the wheel removing and someone competent to open it to have a look at both parts, unfortunately a bike shop will not have a clue so it needs a more specialist seller or a diy approach.
