Diagnosed with type II diabetes 2 years ago, Linda decided to incorporate exercise into her day by cycling to work in order to get back to fitness levels last enjoyed before raising her children. She talks to Pedelecs about the ease of finding the right e-bike and passes on tips, based on what she’s learned 5,000 cycling miles later, for others thinking of doing the same.

Interesting read. As a Type 1 diabetic ebiking transformed my day when I started commuting to work by ebike back in 2009 :)

My Type 1 diagnoses (I require insulin injections, not diet control, as I stopped producing insulin myself) was at 30 years of age, even though for most its from birth or early onset as a child.

Since that first kit conversion I have gone on to turn it into a great hobby as well.
