I can't see any thing wrong.
The battery slot and saddle rail are excellent ideas.
What did I miss?

They are spot on with the first sentence.

Since getting into e-bikes, one thing stands out. Bland bikes that have nothing to distinguish one from another.

It pretty much comes down to brand loyalty and colour. I'm not sure what it is that you have spotted, but the bikes are certainly not the 'same old same old' with a different label stuck on.

Cost reasons aside, I'm really beginning to understand why people set out to build their own bikes.
Home builds, both good and bad, can certainly never be considered bland or boring..

Sorry, but to me, any advert that needs to be heavy on fluffy, light weight concepts rather than solid facts, suggests that either it was written by an idiot or the product is somewhat doubtful and a desperate attempt is being made to talk it up and snare the gullible and naïve.
'Graphic designers will have a wonderful canvas etc.'
Imagine a Victorian engineer trying to describe his latest locomotive etc. in such language!

What is it with with these bike dealers can they not afford to fit a set of mud guards? or is it that the bike is not designed to have mud guards fitted.( too much drag!)
Around where I ride I would need a washing down as well as the bike if I did not have mud guards fitted.

Design triumph over engineering.

To me the seat to handlebar spacing is too tight, impairing the riding position. That's probably due to the seat mounting arrangement which is a copy of the of the identical sliding adjustment that Giant had on the Revive bicycle of nearly a decade ago.

That Giant was a semi-recumbent so the spacing was ok, using the same method with the saddle on a post to have conventional frame geometry doesn't work.

The riding position looks like a modern take on a Dutch city bike, relaxed geometery and upright riding position.
Its styling is a bit look at me but I quite like the design over all.

I do not see the advantage of looking like a foldable without being a foldable.

Design is odd. I do not think they have used proper designers.

Looks too tight to step through and you'd soon tire of smacking your shin on the battery tube swinging a leg over. Looks awful, and no mudguards would stop me buying it anyway.
