I was out on the Typhoon yesterday and went up a steep hill beside Polmont ski slope. At the top is a golf course on both sides of the road. I went up about 13 mph which required a fair bit of effort from me. As I neared the top 3 elderly golfers were crossing the road. One spoke to the other and nodded in my direction. He then watched me coming up. Obviously I now had to make it look easy.
as I passed him he had a wry smile on his face and just gave me a nod of approval so I smiled back, as you do.
Once passed him was a bend which is hidden behind bushes and I could start breathing heavily again, that's the times when the pedal sensor is better than a torque sensor. A nice slow turn of the pedals whisked me into the distance at top speed while I relaxed and recovered.
