I am working towards a solar trailer for next summer's long distance touring plans.

Step one involves setting up a second battery location on my back rack to be the solar system battery, whilst the front tube battery remains untouched as an insurance policy.

I want to neatly connect the second battery to the plug where the downtube battery sits, and the neatest answer would be a redundant battery casing with the socket intact that I can simply slot into place. That also gives a nice dry...
