Hi, Id like to know what the maximum tyre size is for a bike the came with 700x37c tyres, will a 45c be too big for the rims? I found this chart

You are more likely to have some clearance issues than the tyre being too big for the rims. If the rims were already narrow for the 37c tyres there could be a problem.

Heck that's useful - I am at this moment deliberating on whether to get Big Bens for my Dahon Helios p8 - I have enough clearance around the forks, but your chart might resolve the rim question... Damn these pit mine potholes!
