Number of spokes and the motor

Is it possible to fit Bafang (or any other cheap) kits into rims with 32 spokes? For some reason, most of the available kits come with pre-assembled wheel with 36 spokes and I haven't seen them in 32 spokes wheels (except the nano kit in one of Cytronex bikes).

Simple answer yes.

You need to find out if the hub can be supplied with the lower number of spoke holes, but I think you'll probably find that most are 36 spoke for the strength.
