If you don't mind me asking, what was the breakdown of that price? Original cost, shipping, tax/duty etc?

I have a Kalkhoff Impulse Ergo with the Nu-Vinci Harmony gears. I found a problem when under load on power mode, but when the rear sprocket was changed to a 20 tooth from a 21 that it came with(on the advice of the Fallbrook customer service guy who was brilliant!) all problems went away and the bike performs brilliantly on the hilly terrain where I live.
I don't know whether or not it is "inefficient" or not --- it just does what it says on the tin -- set the cadence in auto mode and it changes whether under load or not.

No connection with either Kalkhoff or Fallbrook -- just a very happy customer!

My N360 should arrive tomorrow, £193.47 total incl £38.65 (no!) duty, VAT & handling), so it seems I got lucky with the duty part at least.

Just need to decide what wheel to put it in now. Any advice from anyone who's done the same? My bike is a 26" wheeled MTB.

Hi,
I have been running a 360 second gen model for a while on a project bike max output 6kw , I have limited the nm output from the motor to below 130nm at the rear wheel sprocket input, so far all is well.
Bike and my weight 110kg.
Will not shift up under full load, as mentioned earlier in the thread, turn throttle down ,turn up gear.
Does down shift under load ok.

1 At least there's no chain crunching when chaining under light load or medium load.
2 chain bounce off road much better.
3 no derailer getting crunched.

Just my thoughts

It's just a cheap Chinese rim from BMSBattery. 36 holes.

I can't tell properly from the photo, but what's the angle of the spokes like at the nipple? Mine's a 32-hole vesion btw.

Hi,
32spoke fairly good mtb rim , the spokes have taken some strain, but its ok so far

I'm fitting mine to a bike with a 250W BBS-01 kit but my N360 came without a rear cog. I believe they can accept one between 16T & 22T, and since the BBS-01 has a 48T crank I don't need to worry about the minimum 2:1 ratio. What size rear cog would you suggest I should get, my commute is as follows: -

Steepest gradient: 10.3%
One-way: 5.2 miles, return: 10.4 miles, outbound elevation: 104m, inbound elevation: 97m
At 10mph: outbound consumption: 62WH, inbound consumption: 62WH, return trip: 124WH
At 15mph: outbound consumption: 74WH, inbound consumption: 74WH, return trip: 148WH

Hi, I would start at 18 what I did when selecting ranges is buy a 7-10 speed rear gear and break it up , just need to file 1 flat if I remember, then you can swop gears to your hearts content.
Also it has a wider gear range than a 10 speed rear, so you can to lower or higher, that's what I was looking for on my mad bike, climb what ever you can stay on , top speed 75kph , a fun bike.

I am really keen to see how you find it, I am considering buying the 750w version and putting it on a bike, my hub took a while to break in , the other thing from your numbers will be the compared kWh usage over your route,
