Nice frame but not universal.
No crank drive options and I have a recumbent.
You have a diamond frame or safety bike replacement.
Good luck though.

Ostentatious non-sense.
who is going to spend $1,799 to turn an old bike into half a second hand e-bike?

Makes my Mtrax frame for £89 off fleabay look like a real steal and I think it looks nicer, but then a gain I would :).

I've built a whole load of e-bikes and they have all had their own characteristics/personality, this is why I find it so hard to let any of them go.

I've also found that usually but not always, my favourite bikes are actually linked to quality of build/ materials used and I'm sure that its not just in my head that my quality rides are also the ones that usually cost me the most.

Not sure if the 'salvage your used bike' a good marketing strategy but it does make sense if you already have half decent components on an oldish bike. You can buy a used bike that a couple of years ago cost £3k for around £700, sell on the frame and have a top quality ride with top components for a whole lot less than a Stealth, which is sort of the category that this is competing with.

I'm be watching for some test reports of the ride quality and benefits (or not) of carbon and if positive I think/hope that it's going to be a winner.

Also 1,799 Canadian dollars is around £1000 which is imo a bit of a bargain for what you are getting, especially when compared to the mass manufactured, cycle industry brand re-stickered stuff coming out of China.

If you buy a bike that a couple of years ago cost £3k for around £700, just add the electric kit to it and you'd get a very good e-bike. Why spend $1,799 on a glorified battery casing?

Agreed that it could be seen by some as a glorified battery casing, however these bikes are really aimed at the 6000-15000w ebike market.
For everyday use at the motorcycle power levels, a hell of a lot of battery space is needed, so a dedicated frame designed for this is the best way to go, if you have the cash.
The added weight of the battery pack, motor and controller needed for a 10kw+ build, means that the frame has to be strengthened and stiffened in all the right places, with swingarms and dropouts specifically designed for the motorcycle rims that can be used with these frame if required.

It could be seen as over kill for the 2-4kw builds using bike components like their marketing suggests but each to their own, it is what it is and has great benefits over standard bicycle frames for those with specific needs.

the motor on the demo bike looks like a 1.5kW or 2kW unit. Do you know how much power has been tested on this frame?

Doctorbass has put this set up on the frame
Adaptto 12kW
Zero 1.8 kWh battery 22s1p ( an original 28s1p Zero Motorcycle ZF2.8 pack splitted in two half for 22s)
5302 motor
60T front sproket made to be able to pedal even at 80km/h!!.
400A 92V

The frame has 16L of battery room for as much as 5kWh of lithium cells.

It was tested at the Devinci test facility and apparently is 'overbuilt'

More can be read about it on some of the posts on this thread

I'm actually tempted now but would have to change the ACDC style decals for something a bit more suptle, especially for UK use/ market.
