I live in Hampshire and have cycled all but the first handful of 70 + years, 50 + with my wife.
To keep doing together what we love we have decided trying an electric bike could offset the weight of having to change to a step through from a lovely lightweight road bike. So that's what we have done, with little in depth knowledge, and desperate to cycle together purchased an e-bike.
Belatedly seeing this forum mentioned in a motorhome forum, I thought I ought to get better informed, plus I thirst for technical knowledge anyway.
Went for Kalkhoff Agattu mainly motivated by wanting the cleanliness of a belt drive in that I have to manhandle the bike for transport plus new physical afflictions mean living with an oily chain is best a thing of the past.
