old motor?

hi there, just to clear something up, when i took my plastic chain cover off my 2011 kalkhoff alfine disc stamped on the side of the motor said 'made in japan march 2008' i was a bit taken aback,i hope this is the new motor that takes the cadence upto 15mph?

I'm fairly sure you'll be ok. Late 2010 bikes bought before yours have had the full power to almost 15 mph profile. It's probably set in the software at the works so the assembly age might not be relevant.
