I made a round trip to OnBike outside Kidderminster today for a number of reasons.
Firstly, as I have previously posted, my lights failed recently and last week my bottom bracket developed an ominous click every revolution.
Needing some professional advice I rang OnBike and arranged to take the bike to Phil Key today. Phil only took a few minutes to find the two broken wiires and five minutes later I had working lights.
After a quick test ride Phil agreed that the bearings are on the way out but that that I had some time left. Phil tightend the chain ring bolts and pedals with a nifty little torque allen key set and adjusted my front and rear brakes.
As well as receiving great service I had the chance to try their range of ebikes. my second reason for the visit - I have posted separately about this.
I can't praise Phil and Andrew enough. I was there for over an hour and, whilst Andrew dealt with the other customers, Phil gave me his full attention.
