We had a go at seeing how good a panasonic drive ebike was at real off road
Took a couple of Raleigh bikes off to one of the most testing climbs in the mountain bike world

Very good. I've always maintained these were ideal for off-road, centre unit and battery insulated from direct wheel shocks and their weight in the centre of the bike.
