Paris subsidises e-bike purchases

Paris has extended it's subsidies on buying scooters to include e-bikes now.

Since Italy has already had a subsidy scheme, maybe one day the idea will extend to Britain, or at least our major cities, London I would think a prime candidate. Here's the story on the Paris scheme, the e-bike pictured is a Matra which was originally the American Tidal Force bike before erstwhile car maker Matra took it over:
