A bit back I fitted a split ring PAS to my bike, ring is 12 magnet type. motor Q100
I have SO6S controller, and LCD -3, and I have never been able to get it to work.
It is fitted to the left side of the bike, where it is designed for.
When LCD is powered on the light on the sensor lights up, and goes on and off as the wheel turns.
The wires from controller to pas are brown 5v, yellow signal and black ground.
volts brown to black = 4.28v yellow to black between 0.6v and 4.23v when wheel is turned.
I have tried pedaling backwards, still not working, gap between magnet and sensor 3mm.
LCD set at p1-187, p2-1, p3-1, p4-0, p5-12,
c1-00, c2-0, c3-1, c4-0, c5-10, c6-3, c7-0, c8-0, c9-0, c10-n, c11-0, c12-4.
Throttle works perfect.
anyone help

It's probably a right hand one. Some of those ones with the split magnet disc are handed.

In pandas video its fitted left side, I thought with sensor lighting up, and flashing when the wheel is turned, the controller was receiving the signal.
do you think the controller is ok, also LCD set up.
thanks for your help,

Flashing is a good sign. I wouldn't think that there's anything wrong with the controller. You're not on level zero on the display?

My split ring 12 mag ring works on the right, I had to drill out the center to fit it over my GXP's outer bearing shell.

P4 is throttle behaviour. The only parameter to do with PAS is C2, but it doesn't make much difference. What you set it at.
