Pendleton Somersby electric bike battery charge query

Hi just checking does anyone have this issue. I plugged the battery into be charge but the green light on the battery is not going past 20% no matter how long I leave it in for (24 hours) When I press the battery button it goes to 100% for 5 seconds which would appear to be a full charge. On the bike it also has full bars. Is this just poor design of battery to confuse user or is there something wrong with it. Thanks

I know that with my wifes Pendleton if the battery rocker switch is off, only the lowest bar shows on the battery. If the rocker switch is on it shows the actual level

Hi,

just picked up a Pendleton yesterday for the mrs. Exactly the same problem with the battery only showing 20% despite a potential full charge.

new battery and no rocker switch.

many other suggestions?

ive Just got my bike yesterday and having the same problem did you ever get it resolved ?
