Performance 24v or 36v

Hi

Just what difference would I find between 36v 250w, and 24v 250w.

I understand distance on battery capacity but just wondering if uphill and general
use if it made a difference to only buy 36v.

To get the same power output the 24v system has to run a higher current, the losses in the system will be marginally greater and the battery will have to be slightly larger to a) get the same Wh rating and b) to supply the greater current demand.

Go with 36v if you have the choice.

In the legal wattage range, almost no difference in the real world, theoretically the losses with 24v would be very slightly higher .
Unless you are going with SLA as the peukert effect bites hard.
