I've a 10Ah 36V Ping battery. If I use around 2/3 of it's capacity on a ride how long is it likely to take to fully re-charge. I've been charging until all the little LEDs on the BMS are alight and the charger light goes from red to green as I assume that's when charge finishes. I notice that after turning off the charger the battery BMS LEDs then come on and off in a 'pretty' pattern for a while. Makes me wonder what it's doing or if I've actually fully charged battery.
Does anyone know.
Thanks Andy

You should leave it connected for a while - up to an hour after it first appears to have finished. You'll find the charger switches itself on and off a few times as the cells re-balance.

Just got a helpful reply from Ping on this......

If 2/3 of capacity has been used, it will take about 2.5 hours to charge the pack about 90% full and another about 1 hour to balance the cells.

If all the LEDs on the BMS light up, the battery pack should have been full, no matter the charger light is red or green.

Yes, the BMS LEDs will be blinking after charge. It's normal. You can use the battery pack even if they're blinking and don't need to wait them to be off.....

So that's cleared it up for me.
