Ping battery question

Does the current range of Ping batteries have a battery full/empty type indicator, or just the charging/balancing lights?

Also, what advantage do you get if you take up the option to "Upgrade to High Rate BMS"?

Hi

BMS or battery management is there to control Charge and discharge so protecting the Cells to get the best life span

The other problem is you need a BMS to have a continuous rating that the motor controller demands then a peak for hill climbing and puling away or the BMS will cut off and to reset you need to switch off the battery load to reset the Management


SO the wrong BMS to small will keep cutting out

To large will reduce the battery life but wont cut out

what motor and controller are you using and what BMS options have they offered

As for the previous Question on battery Gauge Email ping and ask as there product is made to order and they may be able to fit one as an option

It's an eZee 250w motor and controller. The only option on the Ping website is "Upgrade to High Rate BMS? $26."
I guess from what you say that the standard BMS would be the most suitable?

email ping , i have both a 15amp and 12mp battery and they are excellent you will find ping is very helpful and won't just try to make a quick sell if you tap in ping batteries on google search his site will come up and you can also read the customer reviews etc .
