Hmm I'm a tad sceptical

I have a similar (albeit smaller panel) and even in summer , I'm direct sunlight in Mexico it didn't perform to the supposed charge rates stated

I treat solar panels the same way I treat most (operative word) ranges I see quoted on ebikes

Me too. The claim of fully charging an e-bike battery during a long lunch break is rather silly, even most e-bike chargers plugged into the mains can't do that!

That would pay for a taxi to follow you with a spare battery or two probably more times than you'd use the solar panels.
