This reminds me of the bike I road every Saturday when I used to deliver fruit and veg around 50 years ago

Wouldn`t it be interesting to convert it to an E bike! Could it work?

I think it would work well with a front hub motor, then the small front wheel would strengthen it's performance as a climber (at the expense of speed). You could put a rear pannier on it to carry plenty of batteries.

The end result might not be particularly fast, but it would get you there with a full front basket.

And you could make your money back by taking on a few paper rounds.

It might not go very fast at all, since the front wheel doesn't reach the ground
