Here's an idea for anyone in Scotland at the moment, how about electrifying one of these:

The conversion might be a bit tricky but I'm sure someone here would enjoy the challenge.

It would need motor assistance to overcome the drag of that multi-idler traction belt system.

Simplest conversion would be one of the top mounted friction drive motors like the Zap or Viking, but with the friction roller replaced with a grooved hollow roller to engage the track teeth above the wheel.
