I've got a Powabyke hub from a 24 inch wheel bike (ex shopper I think). I presume its a nominal 200 watt unit?

I've stripped the rim off, and took the motor apart to inspect and, I suppose unsurprisingly, found it to be in excellent condition.

I plan to use it in a Giant Boulder MB I have as the basis of a DIY e-bike conversion.

Inside the motor is a small sticker saying "24 inch wheel". My question is, what is likely to be the difference between this and the 26 inch version? I presume gearing, so if the 24 inch was geared for say, 12mph, it should do approx 13mph when laced into a 26 inch wheel. Would you agree or are there likely to be other limitations/problems with the conversion?

Thanks, Dave
