Powabyke shopper throttle

Hi Everybody. I have a powabyke shopper which has broken down (surprise! surprise!) I think, but only THINK it's the throttle Now I don't want to spend upward of 40 quid (rip off) just to find I am wrong! so the question is this, is there anyway to wangle a cheap 3 pin throttle on to the bike to replace the original 6 pin throttle. basically what I am trying to find out is if it is the throttle, if it is then I will bite the bullet and buy one....... unless of course I can get away with the cheap one!

There's several different ones. Can you show a picture of the throttle and a close up of its connector?

OK. Plan B, If you go back to my throttle pic you will see that a couple of wires are off the pcb. does anyone please either.
Have a wiring diagram for PCB
or could anyone tell me where each wire goes?
