I have recently replied to the link below and received further information the bike is three and half years old, my main concern would be the condition of the battery even thou it has had little use, can anyone comment on this model and the s/hand value.

I would assume that the battery is dead and that you will need a new one. It's funny how they never seem to have had any use!

I don't know how much a battery costs, but would guess at £250. That makes the bike minus battery worth £750, as new, which it isn't. The bike at 3 1/2 years is probably worth £300, so I would be reluctant to pay any more.

I'd second that, the battery is very likely to be much use, especially as they are such low capacity. Claimed as 6.5 Ah, in fact a number if them back then were found to contain 4.5 Ah cells so it could even be one of those.
