Hi, I've had this little treasure for 2 years now, even though it's a bit clunky and squeaky the battery still holds an excellent charge. The only thing I did notice, from new, was occasionally the power would drop out, however, after a few seconds it would kick back in. So I let it go. Recently though it's been doing it a lot more, to the extent where I had to get off the bike pull the battery out of the cage and put it back in again to get the power flowing through. The other day though it stopped working altogether no matter what I did. The battery seems okay, holding the full three bars of power. I think it maybe a fault with the terminals inside the battery cage. Anyone got any ideas? I not ready to dump my lovely power cycle yet!

It does sound like a loose connection somewhere along the line

The brake cut out can also cause this.

If it cuts out when you go over a bump, it'll be the battery terminals that need cleaning/adjustment. If it cut's out going up hills, it's a problem inside the battery.
