Hi all,
I am looking for at programmable charger for my 36V 14.5Ah, Samsung 29E.
It would be super if it also works with both 24V, 36V, 48V etc.

Also I would like it be able to switch between 2A, 4A and 6A charging.
And have a shut-off-function when finished. And be able to work with 80%, 90% and 100% charging.

My internet and ebay searches have not helped me.
Where should I look for such a thing?

Hi John
That is a solution with the functionality that I look for.

Any similar solutions out there, but at a lower price tag?

The Satiator works out at £200 delivered if you buy direct + import duty, if you buy from a UK dealer it is £250.

I use the icharger 1010b+. It does all you want except the input voltage range is 11-18V from memory. I think some of the other chargers in the range cope with 24V .

Thanks Michael

That's another good alternative!
It works with a max 10 series and fits my batteri (36V - 10 series of 5 cells)
But not with more series (48V - 13 series of 4 cells.... is a no go)

...Please keep them comming...
I need two "smart" chargers (home and job), so price is important.

Ah, I didn't know you wanted it to work with 13s. 13s chargers are quite a bit more expensive than 10s. The icharger 3010b does have that capability I think, as well as handling 24V - not sure about the 2010.

Hi Duncan. Do you definitely need a "smart" charger at both ends? I use the icharger at home and a standard 36V charger at work, both adjusted to cut off at 41V rather than 42. I charge at home at 5A and obviously the icharger can do a lot of fancy stuff, but it has a fan (and the fan in my PSU to provide 13.8V from mains is very noisy indeed at that current) and I don't use the balance port every day. At work I'm charging at 2A, it's silent and just gets the job done. The icharger was nearly £100 plus it needs a PSU (another £20 or £30), whereas the standard charger was about £25 if I remember correctly.
