I know ..and did you know that CIRC = RPM * 60? ... as you say ... amazing ... its not surprising that I can't sleep ... now where's my paul mckenner CD ...I was thinking: "That's a bit strange. How come it's such a round number and not a number like 4761 times". Physics is amazing!
I can't understand why this chap is messing around with reversing the magnetic field to get this small gain. If he diverted the motor's back EMF, rectified and inverted it, that could charge the battery while the motor would rev much faster and be more powerful as well. Two gains with no losses. It seems that our laws of physics don't always work. There's some things still to be discovered. I think I'm like Flecc: I try and keep an open mind. I don't discount cold fusion or flipping Lenz's Law, but I am sceptical.
The bloke in the programme said something like, "The rules of physics say that there's a finite possibility that a real duplicate of yourself could jump out from your body and continue to live along side you". So, if that is possible, I think he'd agree that it's also possible that you could instantaneously jump to the moon one day, and therefore maybe cold fusion has a chance.I never thought for one moment that your post could be in the slightest offensive. These subjects are always of interest, even when far-fetched and/or amusing. I don't quite see cold fusion as being in any way like the boy who cried wolf though, wolves exist, but fusion on this planet doesn't, and in this universe it isn't a cold process. I see a funny side to Rossi's claim of 10 kiloWatts of heat from a D cell size unit of cold fusion!
10 kiloWatts of heat from under 3 cubic inches sure ain't cold in a continuing process!
I'm glad I'm a bear with very little brain - and it's not only long words that bother me!My head hurts!
I've always got an open mind to the possibilities, but only in fiction for the impossibilities. However, I'm all for humour, comedy lightens our lives, and the Greeks certainly need something to laugh at!I see that Flecc is a fan of utilising Back EMF . If , as I suspect , he follows Peswiki Energy News , he will be aware of a new claim from South Africa . Their reporter , Stirling Allen , flew to South Africa to see this . What is claimed is a Fuel free generator with an output of 5 Kw . We have a modified 24 volt DC motor driving a 5 Kw alternator .There are 2 sets of batteries , one powers the device , whilst the other is recharged by the BEMF from the motor . The batteries are swapped when the discharging battery loses 8% of its charge . I know we have seen similar claims before from the likes of Bedini etc , and there is every reason to be skeptical at this stage .All I will say at this stage is we must keep an open mind to the possibilities . Stirling has been gifted a device when production starts , and will test it at his home . Remember also tests start on the Greek cold fusion reactor .
That fuel free generator would have to be over 100% efficient across all stages to make any gain, and that is impossible. Energy cannot be made or destroyed since it's the source of matter which also cannot be made or destroyed. All we mere humans can do or will ever be able to do is convert what is already in the universe, and all conversion involves efficiency losses, mainly to heat.Ok Flecc , I know you are not a cold fusion fan , but what did you feel about the so called Fuel Free generator ? And please don`t say " There`s no fuel like an old fuel !"
