Hi, I'm going to buy a new rear drive wheel for my bike, and i'm not sure which one to get, either the bafang 8fun or the Q100 motor. I wonder if you guys know about the difference between the 2 motors.
Bafang do several hubs which one specifically, as there are 180mm heavy bpm and cst models and 120mm swx smaller lighter ones. The Q's come in 3 flavours. Q100 is the old model and is now bettered by the H version in torquey 201rpm or the rangier 260rpm these are freewheel versions, the cst will take a std splined cassette but sadly only comes in 201 or the 328 which is poor for hills.
It might be a good idea to say what bike you have and what you want to gain by fitting a new motor. If we knew your weight, it would also help. There's so many different motors you could fit. Other possibilities are Q128, MXUS and Xofo.
