Rear Shock Help

Ok, so the real lockout on my 2018 Giant Full-E just packed up on me which is a pain as I use it mainly for commuting. It's a Suntour Unair, Is it the kinda thing that can be fixed? If not how do I measure the length of it to replace it? Do I have to remove it to measure it and if so, as it changes length at what point to i take the measurement?
