Rear wheel conversion

In order to improve the looks of my build and make it a bit more stealthy I've ordered up a laced Bafang rear motor from Kudos. It arrived yesterday and looks great, it didn't come with the cable to connect it to the controller - but a quick call and one is in the post (should arrive today). I ordered it with an 8 speed freewheel - it's the same rear wheel and freewheel as the Kudos King I believe, I went with 8 speed as that's what my shifters etc. are.

Will I need some kind of 'bush' or spacer when fitting the kit, to take up the space inside the freewheel?

Yes. I ordered franks fitting kit which came with spacers and hex bolts and disc brake spacers torque thingys etc..

Well - I went out to measure all of the dimensions and in the little bag of nuts and washers was a bush designed for the job! Also some rim tape in there - very handy.

Hopefully get some time to put it all together at the weekend.
