Rear wheel for Izip wanted.

Urgently required a 26" rear wheel for the above does not need motor, can not find one anywhere for sale on internet at present

There is a bike shop asking about this on the bike trade industry forum, so I'm guessing its to solve the same problem... currently no one has a solution on there I'm afraid.

What is special about this wheel? What is wrong with the original wheel? Could it be respoked/ new rim/ new hub or whatever is needed? It is claimed that we put a man on the moon, but the repair of a bike wheel is beyond us?

-maybe someone stole it? Maybe the bike was locked up but the wheel was not? Happens in Cambridge a lot.

spoke holes on hub have gone oval and not sure if normal wheel can be used with sprocket on both sides as the hubs with the screw on disc is a normal right hand thread and would undo with the rotation of sprocket if that makes sense.

I have one somewhere with a bent spindle, not sure of the hub is ok? will hunt it out over weekend
