Hello Again and hello to all bike dealers :)

Im having a bit of difficulty trying to find a bike rack that can potentially carry a 37 30 ah battery ( 225x210x150 mm ) , does any one have any suggestions or ideas , on where I might find one ?

Hi Tepol,

That battery must be a heavy lump, so you will need a quite substancial rack. There are some here which may be suitable depending on what folder you have Rear Rack products from SJS Cycles .
There is also the option of a seatpost mounted rack, but with all that weight it would need to mounted as low as possible. The best solution maybe to modify a frame mounted rack designed for full size bike.

What bike do you have?

Hi John,

Thanks for the headsup there, Ive written to that seller , to see if they have any racks that can help , I dont actually have the bike yet , which is why Im making sure I can find what I need in the meantime .

Its a lifepo4 battery from Ping - one of the best deal for batteries I thought , unless you want to risk lipo.

Results for 36V LiFePO4 Battery Packs

Mr Ping has proved himself to be quite dependable when things go wrong, something to keep in mind. Also his batteries are 3C rated and as such are probably more dependable. The cheap eBay item is rated 1C so size carefully for your application if going down that route.

The max and rated discharge is listed as 1c but I note the burst is 2c, I'd still size accordingly based on 1c rating though. They do seem to be very good value....
