Currently using a butchered / modified (depends on how you look at it ) Momentum Upstart.
It has a thumb throttle but the spring is slack so I want to replace it. I've attached a picture.
I need to know where the best place to source one is?
Happy to order from china if necessary.

Thanks in advance.$_12.JPG

The spring isn't located properly. Can't you take it apart and fix it?

I was going to but it seems very delicate & thought if I screwed it up I'd be stranded. Will take a closer look later.

The only part inside is the spring. You need to hold back two of the barbs while you pull/lever the two halves apart. You should be able to see the little hole that the spring end goes into. To put it back together you locate the spring, then hold the two halves together at about 180 deg ahead of the low-throttle position, then rotate it round to tension the spring . When the lever comes to it's normal operating position, you can clip the two halves together.

Just logged in to thank you & the instructions are there! Once you said it could be dismantled i tried again & and it fell apart in my hands. I was certainly less tentative knowing it could be dismantled. Thanks for the help. Will be on again soon for tips & tweaks for a 36v 8funSWXK motor twinned with an ecrazyman controller. Thanks again.
