Hi everyone.
I bought a sparta F8E, in good condition, but the range seems a bit on the lower side (Around 30 kilometres fully charged).
I want to replace the internal cells, without paying €400 for a replacement battery.
Is there any way to determine the brand and type of cells that are inside the battery?

The battery is an Accell E-400 11ah 36v.
I'd like to upgrade to 14 or 17ah if possible.
Can someone help me out please?

Best regards

To replace the cell pack it will cost you likely more then eu400.
Have you got a mini spot welder, a power source, nickel strip, soldering iron, shrink wrap, polymide heat tape etc ,etc. One will need to weld the cells together correctly and solder on the BMS and the associate wiring correctly.

The battery if a rear rack one looks to be a non generic shape, how many wires connect to power the battery ?
If only two wires then at least the system is a generic uncomplicated one.
If unable to have the experience or knowhow to do the job your self a company could re-cell it though cost will still be eu300 approx.

The battery case accounts for approx. eu50 the rest of the cost is what is inside and labour.
