Can anyone help with this query: my new bike comes with the C600E LCD display. One of the options is the 'Riding Mode Selection' : there are three options 'Power', 'Normal', 'Eco'. My bike came with 'Normal' set as default.

Anyone know what these mean (the manual doesn't explain). My bike doesn't have a throttle or walking assist and I suspect Power might relate to having a throttle (not sure). It's not directly related to the 6 Pedal Assist settings as they are set in a different option. Just curious & thanks

Power, normal and eco are three different levels of current (torque). The 5 or 6 PAS levels are speed levels. Each one limits to a different cut-off speed. So, level 1 eco means lower power and low speed. Level 6 and Power, means maximum power and maximum speed. Therefore, you have 19 power/speed possibilities including zero power.

You need torque for hill-climbing and acceleration.

Which bike is it?

Many thanks. The 6 PAS settings in 'Normal' seem to have all my requirements covered but might try out the other options out of curiosity. I'm new to ebikes so I'm still in that stage where I can't stop smiling when the power kicks in (and where it all feels like it's some kind of magic). It's one of the new Kudos Alamo/Stealth bikes.
