route planning

hi, anyone any suggestions for web route planners for cycling...that
show the route on a map
indicate road type eg quiet road, off road, busy main road, old rail track etc....
estimate the mileage
estimate the amount of both climb and fall of the route
give a guide to time for journey (at an average speed)

do some of the gps systems link into this type of site ?

anyone using this type of information on a regular basis.....

i dont have an iphone or gps , but am aware that some gps are great for hillwalking ....do they double up for cycling or golf course maps for distance info ?

I use toporoute.com, simple and very easy to use also Bikehike.co.uk which has two maps one of which is OS....
